(I meant to post this back in August, when I got home from visiting my family in Utah)
One evening, Lindsay loo sat and colored while Maloree, Cory and I took her puppy Ryker for a walk. Ryker is Maloree's new german shepard puppy- well, relatively new. He's a little over 6 months now!
(in these photos, he is 4 months old)
Isn't he just so squishable??? Ok, so he really dosen't like to be squished, but his ears are sure fun to kiss!
Such a good boy!!
He LOVES to run... you almost can't wear him out!
Yes, Mal was holding his favorite ball.
We hung out at our old elementary school for a bit, and reminisced about the good old days...
Here is what we called "The Oak". They have since thinned the trees out quite a bit- so no scary people can hide in there, but waking through it was like going back in time! Mal and I pointed out our favorite nooks and crannies, and the crooked tree that I sat on as a kid is the same one that she did, and it's still there, ready to support another generation of happy kids.
Four square!
It was golden hour while we were out- Utah has some seriously beautiful sunsets.
On the walk home, we passed a community garden with this sign- it reminded me of our grandpas garden. It was truly fantastic. Someday I'll post some photos.
Pretty summer blooms.
Nala wasn't happy that we took the dog on a walk and not her- she LOVES to go on walks.
